These types of videos are your Best Ever! A few years ago you did a similar one with a t-shirt dress, and it was fantastic! Please do more like this showing how to style a certain piece of clothing.

Here's my update, Nancy! I've completely downsized my summer wardrobe, so it aligns with Project 333. I can't tell you how much freedom it's brought me. Now I know I'm wearing EVERYTHING in my closet, no more guilt. And I'm not bored with my limited color palette of black and white. Loving it!! I'm storing clothing in bins in my basement until I sort out what I no longer want or what I know I'll add to my fall 2024 capsule wardrobe. I never thought I'd be able to have a limited color palette and limited pieces of clothing. Eileen Fisher pieces are replacing my other mediocre clothing. It's proving to be a very good choice! Perhaps it's the age (69) combined with my husband's retirement (April 2023), a move to my home city and state, and the loss of my sweet, Roxy, (had for 15 years) that spearheaded my need for change and simplicity. Hoping all is well in Pennsylvania!

Love your capsule wardrobe! I think bringing in pops of color is easier for getting dressed than having lots of colorful clothing.

Absolutely loved this video. I wonderful if you could pull it off and you did. However, the one outfit I didn't like was the one with navy striped trousers. I think a pair of cuffed dark or mid blue denim would have looked better. Thank you for your video. I shall definitely give the dress challenge a go.

Someday - Can you talk about undergarments with white clothes - I found a great white shirt dress that I loved - but ended up returning it because I could not hide underwear and bra.

just put away your shorts, mini skirts, bikinis (unless going to indoor pool), and sandals. With everything else, color doesn't matter. Wear them in fall! Peach capris are fine in October. Come Nov. 1st, I put away capris and thin dresses. The other stuff, you can layer and enjoy more clothes. In mid Jan. is when I concentrate on really warm clothes. In April, I take out the warm weather clothes because there are warm days coming.

Perfume, cologne, body spray, scented lotions and creams, and other fragrances on second hand items. If I can't get those smells out, I have to get rid of whatever I purchased.

I accidentally left my Omega 3 capsules in the washer-cannot get that stinky fish smell out. I’ve tried everything-baking soda, vinegar, enzyme cleaner-any tips for taking that particular smell out?

I only have one complaint (and request): as a dedicated people watcher I am appalled by the number of women who aren't wearing good brassieres. I urge everybody to take more care and consideration when it comes to their undergarments and general grooming. I will restrain myself in digressing and tearing into a ferocious diatribe about top knots, rubber slides, crop tops, tracksuits, ropey false lashes, bad tattoos and leggings worn as outer garment trousers (with Ugg boots) in public. If you simply MUST indulge in Waynetta Slob inspired ensembles 7 days a week, then please I beg of you all-- ESPECIALLY curvy women and women over 40-- PLEASE PLEASE invest thoughtfully in bras that actually fit you properly. The laundry detergent, especially the scent pellets are adding to the problems. But when you look at the chemistry of the polyester synthetic fibers, and you're not washing out the soups, the Sent sookers and even dryer sheets. When that stuff stays into the fibers that holds the bacteria, creating the odor. Quick, so how do you break that down and get that out?

Put on what you want i think these personal choices of dressing should be blacklisted, some gives great advice but some just give you pressure about your dressing code. I am a fashionista in my own boutique and I don't mind what others think of me

Nice video! I like your general style but as a short lady I avoid long, flowing shirts and scarves. I prefer more fitted clothes, especially activewear. Too much drape-y, flow-y doesn’t look flattering on me. I’m definitely working on a capsule wardrobe and trying to define my own style in my 60s.

You’re so right about people buying clothes for their aspirational lifestyle rather than the life they actually have. I have just ruthlessly decluttered my wardrobe and it was heartbreaking to see the money I’d wasted on clothes I’d never or rarely worn. But the result is that I’m wearing more of my practical clothes and looking better because of it.
